Covid-19 Policy
Covid Policy
Starting Tuesday June 23rd, Alpine Veterinary Medical Centre will be allowing clients with scheduled appointments to enter the building under the following conditions:
You have not traveled outside the Yukon in the last 14 days (outside Yukon or B.C starting July 1st)
You are not showing any signs of COVID-19
You have not been in contact with a positive COVID-19 case in the last 14 days
Only one client is allowed to attend the appointment
You must wear a mask upon entering the building. We will provide a mask if you do not have one. The veterinarian will also be wearing a mask for the appointment
We are still asking that you call when you arrive in the parking lot and a kennel assistant will bring you into the building for the appointment
The appointment rooms will be cleaned thoroughly between each appointment. All surfaces that are contacted by pet and client will be disinfected.
If you are not comfortable entering the building for your appointment we will still offer curbside service.
All other services will continue to be curbside (e.g. pet food, medication refills, surgical drop-off and pick-up, nail trims, anal glands, suture removal). Please call when you arrive in the parking lot and we will be happy to serve you. We apologize if you are having trouble getting through when calling as we are experiencing higher call volumes with these new protocols.
Finally, we will also be accepting appointments for annual exams and vaccines as well as drop-ins for nail trims and anal glands.
We would like to thank all of our clients for your patience with us over the last few months. We have been trying to adapt to this new normal as best as possible.
